History

Medicos Art Club Ethiopia (MAC-Ethiopia) has evolved through various stages since its inception. Initially known as the Medical Students and Graduates Art Club, the organization was rebranded as MAC in 2018 GC. It was founded by Dr. Dagmawi Mulugeta, a visionary medical doctor with a passion for integrating artistic expression into the medical profession, alongside Dr. Daniel Fentaneh, who played a major role as a founder for the new look of MAC ETHIOPIA, recognizing that medical students and doctors possess a wealth of artistic talents and skills, the founders sought to nurture these talents to enhance their personal and professional lives.

In late 2024 GC, after six years of steady growth and impact, the organization was further strengthened by the addition of two Co founders: Dr. Fekadu Yadessa and Dr. Michael Ad. These enthusiastic medical doctors brought new energy and ideas, helping to establish a solid foundation for the organization. With their contributions, the organization was rebranded once more as Medicos Art Club Ethiopia (MAC-Ethiopia). Together, they envisioned MAC-Ethiopia as a platform for medical students and doctors to develop and showcase their creative talents, fostering a more holistic and balanced approach to the medical profession.
